| I have just watched the game on sky (recorded) and really liked the dressing room at half time. It seemed maguire set the room out like a meeting, they sat on chairs instead of benches and he spoke to each individual player. Im guessing this is an australian thing but I really like it. It then showed the away dressing room which was a lot different, some of the players could hardly see the coach.
Anyone have an opinion?

| I agree with lots on here and I think basically shows that for the last few years we were not fit or ready for the season.
I did like Mr McGuire's response on the web site about the question "its early so doesn't really matter"?????????? he looked like " what are you talking about" and then politely responded that "we approach every week as though it matters" the words may be wrong but the attitude is what he inferred.
I think that the fans are happy with what we have seen, I am this is a totally committed fit side who have some method of play and isn't it great to see us beat up the other teams????
I can see the Melbourne style but more important attitude towards the game.
We have seen if you went to Warrington (friendly) 3 matches where we have played for 80 minutes.
Can anyone tell me when we did this? Doesn't it also show up our previous regime re fitness? I cannot accept with full time sportsman different levels of fitness, skill yes, fitness and effort no.

| In my view Maguire is showing genuine leadership qualities; leading a team well should be achievable, but lots of people mess it up.
So far Maguire seems spot on.
Of course , the big test comes when things begin to go wrong.........but so far this is a superb start. The players look like they WANT to be there, which hasn't been the case for a while........

| From what I have seen of MM he acts and conducts himself like a true profesional he has stamped his authority on the team, what he has made the players realise he is the boss end of chat, It don`t matter who the player is and how good they think they are it`s his way or the door is there. All respects the the players though they have all seemed to have stepped up a gear if not two, although I have upmost respect for BN maybe this was where he was going wrong. MM seems to be a breath of fresh air something the club was been lacking.

| I've been really impressed with what I have seen and heard of McGuire so far, not that he has done anything particularly earth shattering, or even anything that wasn't blindingly obvious, but that he has done the small and simple things well. People who are good leaders have the ability to make things look simple und uncomplicated, and for most rugby players brains, that is the most important thing!

| It has been simple but simple is exactly what we've needed.
He's got the players fit and got them working their rocks off on the pitch. They're doing the basics well and the basics are what we've struggled on for years.
Saturday will be a real indication of where we're at and what we can hope to achieve for the season. Wire are a good side at the moment and have dangerous players all across the board. They also know they can beat Wigan and that we have a monkey on our backs at the HJ.
If we can win that then this season could be a very pleasing one.
