This is a load of s**te, first game of the season against Cruseders, the pitch was shocking then!

Bearing in mind all of our pre season games have been at away venues how could we have possibly mess the pitch up after one game?
Fans are just using the Warriors as an excuse for the pitch being in a poor condition, i say hire some decent ground staff and maybe you might see a difference?

Looks like I spoke too soon, how much does it cost to relay a pitch???

Maybe the groundsmen need to be looked at first eh?

My son is currently in trial at Wigan Athletic and last night while freezing my chudds off, one of the other parents who is from Bolton, happened to mention the damage the rugby was doing to the pitch.

He is now very well versed in local drainage problems, laying pitches on top of pitches, building stadiums in swamps, the state of said pitch prior to the RL season, etc etc. Have you ever seen that expression on someone's face that says, "I wish I'd never opened my mouth"....

Yeah but it will be in one ear and out the other.
This time next season he will STILL be blaming the pitch on the rugby.

One of you lot should take a picture of the pitch at the end of the season and then another at the start of the next. Send them to Sky and post them to as many websites as you wish when this tripe is brought up year after year. I'd be inclined to ring one of the idiot phone ins when they bring the matter up as well.
