We as outsiders have no idea what the connection to the club is. For all we know she could have been a supporter for the last 50 years, or could do work in the community on behalf of saints.
For me RL is a real, true community sport like no other. There has to be no real connection with the club but with the community.
There could be people in the stands who know the person personally. For me that’s all that counts.'"
Yeah your right mate but you have to draw the line somewhere thats all im sayin....otherwise you get the position where your having one every game. I would never disrepect a minutes silence, but some minutes silences in the past at st helens have left me thinking 'who?!' last night was not the case, but i was raising the point to back up the fella who was getting blasted on here for making a similar point. Ok he might not have put it in the right way but I think we all know what he was trying to say, and wasnt being disrespectful in that!
Ps. chisholm its got nothing to do with lack of respect...in fact the opposite. What i am saying is you cant have minutes silences for everyone otherwise it actually reduces the mark of respect the minutes silence was meant to represent in the first place!
