Quote: Bilko "I was at Twickenham for the Middlesex 7s and the Union half of this match for my sins. The Union match was dire but we score two blinding full lengthers from Craig Murdock.
I still think us fannying about with these gimmicky matches cost us the Super League title that year but sadly our financial plight made them a necessity.'"
I went to the Union game.
Remember Radlinski making an error similar to the Bath ones. (out of instinct basically) He tackled Callard right on the Bath line and instead of standing up and picking it up when Callard let the ball go, he put his hands on it whilst off his feet which resulted in a penalty. Would have been 44-28 had he done it right.
