Was sat in the front row of the west stand tonight, and the pitch appeard to very spungy underfoot with the players slipping all over the place

Was stood in the North stand tonight (booming). Pitched looked alright, just slippy cos it was wet and the crap studs that soccer players wear these days.

I've said it once and I've deleted about ten posts - this is a thread about the pitch not about Latics attendances. Cheers.

pitch looked strange to me....irregular stripes until just outside the box at the south end........then it went back to that tartan pattern they had last time they were on .

pitch did look holding up well in the conditions.......pity some players didnt select the right studs at the start.

pitch looked fantastic, what renovations need to be done on it again?
