| The clubs been on a downward spiral for quite some time!, In my opinion Wigan has lost the Wigan heart and soul (home grown players),
We have alot of aussies etc within the side, which on paper are very talented, however they have failed to play to their maximum.
It's not much fun being a Wigan fan these days, theirs so much inconsistency within the team, and the worrying thing is they have never been able to sort that problem out!
Nobby is trying but it isn't working, he keeps saying the right things, and i think he genuinly beleives in what hes saying, but us as supporters (the paying public) aren't seeing much change.
The way the team played against Saint's last Thursday was the best i have seen them for ages!, however they had a spell in the match where they lost the composure and had spells in the match where they failed to convert their opportunities and thats what cost them on that day.
Catalans away in my opinion came too soon for them, they were shot, completely dead on their feet!. They started well and then just ran out of gas!. The Dragons picked us apart, and got through at will and in the end deserved to win!.
So what happens next?
On the face of it things don't look great for the rest of the season, we have lost a large % of our matches already, and it's essential that for things to get better, the team must find their composure and i think the chairman needs to do something, Noble is a good coach with what he did at Bradford. However he at the moment has failed to succeed with the challenge of Wigan. Maybe it is time to make a change? and bring someone else in, preferably a Wiganer, I think right now that is what the team need!

| Amos Roberts - Top try scorer one season. Averaged over 50% try scoring ratio.
Tim Smith - Dally M Rookie, 40 assists in 1 season, touted as the next Johns.
Phil Bailey - Ex-SOO and Australia player.

Mark Riddell was highly rated too.

Ah yes but with Mo we got the best !
Martin Offiah, Gene Miles, Brett Kenny, John Ferguson,Hanley and he wanted to sign Wally Lewis. The list was endless of great players.
Look at this sorry lot we have signed now.

Smith and Roberts never played Rep football. That says a lot. Secondly, Smith's well reported mental issues are clearly still troubling him which are outside the control of Brian NOble.
Bailey only played SOO because of the woeful injuries suffered in that season. He is a very good player but far from a 'top NRL player'.

He got selected for Australia after that series too.
Injuries or not, he must have been one of the NRL's top players to gain selection.
It's obvious.
