| Quote JLM23="JLM23"Nice Try, But as usual you dont show the full picture.
Fielden averages a gain of 7.19 metres per drive.
Leuluai averages a gain of 7.64 metres per drive.
Carvell averages a gain of 8.77 Metres per drive.
Hence I suggest this would support my argument that they are both more likely to make more metres on a drive than Fielden.'"
Incedentally
All of the above are MORE than MOS "Takes A shuffle and turns his shoulder When in OZ!" James Graham!
You didn't seem to mention that one!

| Quote JLM23="JLM23"He was probably on the pitch for much Longer than the pair of them two, so that would stand to reason, Carvell only played 10 games, so it's obvious he'd make more tackles and more Yards over the season. However, that wasn't my argument, I just said they were more likely to make metres, which has been proven.
However, like you say, and im sure I said during our drunken blur, on the form from the 2nd half of last season Yes Fielden should have gone to the world cup, especially infront of Fasavalu!'"
I should have Gone in front of that Useless Waste of space!
4 x props! 2 that had been injured nearly all season! No Back Up! 4 or 5 players who wnet just to make up the numbers!
He had 2 x years to get it right and he came up with that!
That's another argument for another day!

No your right, I didn't, Didn't even check him to be honest!
However, using your argument Graham, did much more on everything else, and Graham wasn't brought into this discussion anyway.
You are right about the turning the shoulder though.

Cutting to the chase, Fielden is in the Top 5 or 6 props in the League.
He is certainly in the Top 4/5 Eligible Props for GB!
He may not be the Fielden of 3/4 years ago but he is still one of the best!
I would go as far as say that none of the others has to do the Spade Work that Fielden does as well to make up for the others???

Think we will have to agree to disagree mate, I probably dont see enough of Fielden to comment on him, certainly not as much as you. However I will say when I have never seen him play well against us for Wigan, the 1st game at Knowsley Road last season, I noticed him stood out in the centres on occasion ( Being a prop, if I caught myself there I'd give in!) I would certainly rate James Graham and Jamie Peacock above him for two, Probably Burgess as well. I suppose we can never Compare the work Fielden does in a lesser front row, than the work done by others either really.
