I like the idea of a big event like the magic weekend but it doesn't seem very constructive to unbalance the league structure to broadcast our game with half empty stadia. Not enough people want to watch 3 or 4 games in a day which would keep the stadium full. Small stadiums don't work with the current ticketing system. It's more productive to use this as an international fixture. England vs Exiles is great, but if you push 7 or 8 games down peoples throats over 2 days the boredom factor kicks in. Anything becomes boring if you watch enough of it, no matter how good it is. This makes it impossible to present the games in front of full houses. If this 2 day festival must contnue why not have international fixtures featuring the home nations and others with England v Exiles headlining one day and the world club challenge headlining the other. I realise the world club challenge would dilute the england team by 1 or 2 players but it's a time for trying new players anyway.
