| The Yorkshire evening post have certainly changed their tune with Holroyd, going from saying they expected him to sign on with Leeds a few weeks ago, to now saying he's yet to sign anything at Leeds and the club are sweating that he's leaving.
Personally, I like him but his injury record is a huge worry. We have plenty of options though, so it's probably worth the punt because his ceiling his pretty high.

Hearing that Tote are the new principal sponsors for next year
Is that just a rumour or is it worth a bet? Is their logo the right colour for the shirt?

| Think that's it for OOC British front rowers. I'm sure we'll sign an overseas forward (front or backrow) but not sure that's enough considering we'll have lost Cooper, Isa, Byrne and Hill along with Chan and Eseh not looking up to standard.

| Need a second rower. Does anyone know if that maximum minutes in a season rule for young players came into affect because if it did Nsemba is well on the way to busting it. We seem to have gone from producing back rowers by the dozen to relying on Farrell and Nsemba not picking up a knock, hopefully when Havard is back we can afford to shift Walters back and we can start rotating the three of them.

this is from the end of 2023 and i think it was deferred a year Forwards over 22 will be limited to 25 full game equivalents – 2,000 minutes of rugby. Backs over 22 will be limited to 30 full game equivalents in a 12-month period: 2,400 minutes. For forwards 22 or younger, the limit will be 20 full game equivalents, while backs of that age bracket get 25 full game equivalents. Players 18 or under have an even lower match limit: forwards have 15 full game equivalents and backs 20. Explainer: How the RFL's new rules on 'match limits' capping players' game-time will work from 2024

Walters looks that at home at prop, I don't think we really need to bring anybody in in that area if he's staying there and I agree with you, we need a second rower. I wouldn't have minded us making a move to sign James McDonnell back from Leeds and I find it a bit strange that he's only extended his deal at Leeds by a year (so maybe we do try for 2027). I do think Vaughan will be used here as a second rower and then there is Mason and Hirst but I'm hoping we'll be looking overseas for an option to come in and press Farrell/Nsemba for a place. At prop, I'm hoping we see Sam Eseh back here in 2026 and pushing for a place. I'm not entirely convined by him and never have been but I do think he's looking more promising in recent games at Hull.

Heard Holroyd was signed up months ago, to the point I thought with it not being announced it may not be happening.
Signed a new contract @ Leeds

| Eseh has a further year in our favour I think on his contract. He signed 2 years but sure the third year is in our gift.
Let’s remember he’s 22.
I thought he would have made an impact by now but it’s not quite gone to plan, but the fact we are loaning him out still I get the feeling he will be with us next year.
If he is with us in 26 it will be his make or break year. The lad has bags of potential I hope he realises it with us, but it has to happen next year. If it doesn’t he will go elsewhere and have a good career in SL, but I genuinely believe he could be great.
Walters for me now needs to remain at Prop. He’s just better there than he is on an edge.
