| Surely it could not happen again?
A piece in the Daily Mail saying Todd Boehly at Chelsea is looking at options for the Chelsea ladies team moving out of their Kingsmeadow ground as it is too small for redevelopment and are looking at 10,000 seater stadiums. The piece does mention Plough Lane.
But if that ground became available at Kingsmeadow would Hughes bite?
Boehly is very keen to improve the ladies facilities as they are not really up to scratch compared to the mens teams.

| I am sure that, if Chelsea come knocking at Wimbledon, I cannot see any scenario where Broncos are not shown the door.

| Ladies games are played at Plough Lane as it is. I don’t see it being the end of the world, unless the good people of Merton give up on their long standing Nimbyism or more likely are too distracted by their tussle with the All England Tennis Club.

Not really worried about the residents of Plough Lane, more the fact that Chelsea will want the best pitch possible for their ladies considering they play in Europe as well. The pitch would not take three football games and one rugby game on it a week minimum and womens premier league games are played on Sundays clashing with Broncos games.

| If this did happen, Kingsmeadow may well not become available. Chelsea moved their U23 etc set up there from Aldershot's ground. I can't see them also decamping to Wimbledon.

| No one has a wire kit as you inevitably end up at the bottom. Even Wire have got rid of it this season

| Yet again it makes me think perhaps, just maybe , and for a fair few reasons....... perhaps we should have stayed at Ealing?

| Ealing with a full time team was always going to be better than Plough Lane and part time. I would have thought using Ealing as our out ground would have been a better option than Ebbsfleet too. I guess it's all about having a super league standard ground, but if you haven't got the team where does it get you? If Skolars ever re- developed New River they could be a serious contender. I read that Haringey offered the site to the RL if they committed to build a 10k capacity stadium about a decade ago. Don't know if that's true or not

Don't be daft. Dave knows what he's doing and with our expert CEO steering us down the right route [outside hockey season] and our commercial manager conta-dealing us to fiscal oblivion, we will crush the 5,000 fans in the next 25 home games easily. This, along with 1,000 tweets a week flogging the gold lounge to the shrinking core base will see the club as the first name on IMG's reimagined sooooooper competition.

| Quote: "Speaking of Ealing...
So...er, London Welsh II?
The debacle that was wasps and guy's Mayes at Worcester show how inept the RFU decision to deny Ealing was. The owner at Ealing doesn't suffer fools and it would be hilarious if they become part of the celtic/south African comp.....a comp that is quite often far more entertaining than the premiership.
Meanwhile, we're off to ebbsfleet.....progress as Hughes calls it
