| News on Twitter today about a Working Party set up to look at improving the game. The usual suspects involved, Hetherington, Lakin, McManus, Middleton + prize numptys Rimmer & Moorhouse.
So far has drawn plenty of criticism due to those involved & no reps from the Championship, League 1, Community Clubs, French, Players. At least if nothing else it proves Rimmer is still in the land of the living!
Why this motley crew think they can solve the problems most of them have created in the first place beggars belief.

| The make up of the WG tells us all we need to know. I assume they will conclude that it’s Champ and L1 teams holding SL back. That SL should be a closed shop and they should get all the money. Job done.

| There is pressure on them to do something to enhance the sport.
Sky TV have only given them a deal for two years. The next deal will be for even less money than the upcoming one.
Unless they see an all round improvement, which is to their liking.

| Will Sky even bid next time? The rise of women's sport will see that take up more time and it's quite possible sports will be dropped to make room / save money.
Speedway is in all sorts of trouble after being dropped by Sky having blown nearly all the Sky money on wages rather than growing the sport. Sound familiar?

| I switched off at half time last night, no way can I stand the Two Clowns Barry & Terry! Sky are just going through the motions, with little interest for the game itself.
