| I was looking back over the years I've followed the fortunes of the club and was wondering what other peoples favourite seasons have been.
As a relative newbie, getting into the game in 2002, I'd say my top 3 are:
1. 2003 Trip to St Helens for the Play Offs. We had a great team and given we didn't see a home SL win until June, it was amazing that we finished in 5th spot.
2. The 2005 season. Yep, we were a "gnats pube" away from going under, but we played some stunning footie and IIRC we won 10 and drew 1 at home that year only losing 3 times......it was becoming a fortress and we averaged 3,918 that year at home.
3. 2006. Taking away the 12k attendance reported for the double header, we averaged 4,333 that first year in pastel colours. We just missed out on the Play offs, but the omens were good. We had some young local lads breaking into the first team and it felt like we had a real chance of making the Quins partnership work.

| Would have to go:
1. 1980/81 because without the "big men in black" the following 40 years would never of happened. If only we had forwards like Lester, Beverly, Gourley, Wood & IVB today. Also smashing Bradford motor-mouths in the Challenge Winner take all at the end of the season.
2. 1993/94 Tank Gordon's magnificent team that reached the divisional Premiership Final falling at the final hurdle.
3. 1997 Super League II Runners Up. Some excellent players in that lot.
Individual memories would be:
1. 1997 Broncos 38 Canberra 18
2. 2002 Broncos 30 Wire 18 in Carcassonne
3. 2005 Broncos 32 Leeds 24 in Perpignan
Still brings a smile thinking about the Elvis clad Leeds fans doing the conga across the terracing while Broncos stormed back from nowhere to win.
Those last 2 games started a love affair with that part of France & have returned many times since.
Happy days.

| Quote: Dave Lister "Warrington (H) 2009'"
Is that the infamous "shirt burning" game?

| I remember playing warrington when we put I think almost 60 points on them, and there players was too afraid to go to their fans who was extremely unhappy to say the least. But then I also remember warrington putting 70+ on us as well....
One of my memories was playing Catalans at Esher... I know weird memory, but possibly a sign of things to come later on

| My first game - v Keighley, at Hendon FC's Claremont Rd in 1994 (also the first game under the Broncos moniker). We lost, which should have been a sign, but it was the start for me.
Playing Wigan in front of 8,500 at Griffin Park in 1996. We copped a bit of a hiding from a great team, but I remember looking around at the crowd that night and genuinely thinking the club and the sport were on the verge of breaking out big time.
The first SL home game v Paris at Charlton. Getting off a packed train at Charlton and walking to the ground really added to the feeling we were going places.
1997 - finishing second with an excellent coach, a very good squad, and a couple of local lads breaking into the squad.
1997 again - giving it to Canberra, and then following it up with a cracking performance against Brisbane.
1999 - Challenge Cup Final. The result was a foregone conclusion to be honest, we had too many injured players in the stands and on the field. Still a great day though. The only real disappointment being that my dad was working overseas at the time so couldn't be there alongside me to watch it.
Early 00s at Griffin Park. That place started to feel like home, we were averaging over 4,000 (and looking for ways to grow that to a 5,000 break even figure), and we had some good rugby league to watch. It was, unfortunately, consistently downhill after that.
2018 - completely unexpected season. Thought we looked decent before the season started but had no idea what Danny Ward and the players would go on to achieve. Watching that final game from Toronto on the TV was just ridiculous.
2019 - no-one gave us a hope in hell but, once again, the team shocked everyone. If you ever want an example of a sports team being more than the sum of its parts then this Broncos side was it. Such a shame we couldn't find that one result somewhere along the line.

| The best games for me had to be The World Challenge at The Stopp, the place rocked! Will always remember the game against Saints at Knowsley Road, as I went to walk up the steps in the stand to exit, in my Broncos polo shirt, three of their fans giving mr some abuse and pushing me about, I most likely lived closer to the ground than they did lol
