| I've been watching RL in London since Fulham's first game in 1980. Am not quite old enough to have seen Streatham & Mitcham or London Highfield but have been lucky enough to see many great players turn out for the Londoners in their various guises.
I wondered if we'd ever thought about who was the best of the lot.
Reg Bowden, Mal Aspey, John Wood, Tony Gourley, Colin Fenn, Rusty Bawden, Tony Mestrov, Peter Gill, Terry Matterson, Steele Retchless, Jim Dymock, Ritchie Barnett, Rob Purdham, Luke Dorn, Mark McLinden, LMS, Tommy Leuluai etc. These are a few of my favourites but I'm bound to have missed others that have contributed just as much to RL in the capital. My personal vote, however, would go to the Moroccan magician Hussein M'Barki. What do you think?

| Marty was the one I was always happy to pay good money to see.
A mention too for Rob Purdham and Paul Sykes.

| Dennis Moran. He was in full flight as a Bronco, not at the end of his career like most of the 'greats' who played for us in our better years when SL began.

| Couldn't agree more about Denis Moran. Had a superb season for us, then moved on to Wigan- with less success. Honourable mentions to Mark Riley and Leo Dynevor too. Like Denis, nobody knew what they'd get up to next- least of all them!

| Gower and Hill are always stand outs for me when I think back to some of our best players.

| Not sure that qualifies him as our greatest ever. Tulse was a decent player and good luck to him for getting a gig with the BBC. Struddy (Ross Strudwick) also worked with the beeb. It's one of life's mysteries how he managed to refrain from swearing when adding his 'expert' comments to Ray French's commentary on Cup Final days.

| First thought was Mark Riley. After a bit more thought, I remembered how influential Terry Matterson was for us. I'd probably still go with Riley though.
But in terms of pure excitement when he got hold of the ball, and didn't drop it (and when he could be bothered), Richie Barnett.
Last time this was discussed, I think I went for Greg Barwick. He was pretty good too!
