Real positive statement of intent here from Skolars. Fingers crossed they get the investment they need and can challenge the Broncos as the top pro club in London. I look forward to those big London derbies.

| Don’t think that’s what it really suggests, this looks like normal business rather than a statement of looking for specific new investment. The only real news is IL is not involved

Did you read it ? Quote: northernbloke "As owners, we are actively seeking investment from existing shareholders and also discussing expressions of interest with several interested third parties.'"

Agreed.
On the topic of Ian Lenegan. What would be the ruling now if he wanted the London Broncos? I know that the RFL were concerned about 2 technically owned by one bloke, but what about a second tier side?

| With Lenaghan's North American venture, including two French sides and Perth, London is a vital component. He wants New River as a base to shoehorn a London side into the mix when David Hughes goes!

| I know Trailfinders is not good, but let’s be serious New River is not the best venue in the world. Don’t get me wrong it’s good to see rugby league in london in all it’s guises, but like us, if they progress up the ladder they need a new venue or development of new river! Cannot see that happening.
At least with Trailfinders the option if not the money or the will is their to erect another stand behind the sticks. (Yes tacit building permission is there)

Really?
For a bloke who sold his BMW to fund his new company in the 1980's, he's doing all right.......including bussing Wigan fans to London for their first away game in the capital under their ownership, seeing the value of the London Challenge when our future was "being mulled over", taking a SL game to 'Stralia and generating a profit off the back of it, keeping his average gates at a steady 14k whilst the rest of the comp is hemorrhaging fans (20%+ down this year alone) 3 SL titles in 9 years......sheezze.......I wish we had his problems rather than being in the 2nd tier, on the brink of semi-pro status and playing out of a wedding venue in front of 700 fans......sometimes we just don't see how lucky we are
