Are the wheels coming off of the Wolfpack roller coaster. Craig Hall has left, siting family reasons. It is said other players are looking to leave for the same reason. Apparently the schedule, where they are to spend long spells in Canada. Is why some players having are second thoughts. The accommodation too, may not be some players liking.
The Wolfpacks loss is Leighs gain. As Craig Hall has signed for them.

Maybe this homesickness thing is catching. I would love us to sign one of their players who cites homesickness the reason for leaving, ideally Sims or Taylor or McCrone or Westerman or you get the drift

Sadly none of them are Cockneys and homesick for pie & mash and a glimpse of the Canning Town flyover!

I just wonder how the Judas, Andy Ackers will cope. I hope it is not too much for him.

I do believe that the long away schedule is affecting players especially ones who have kids and they can't come over for the whole summer. Also we will now be based out of Manchester next year which will add to travel for a lot of the UK based players on regular basis on top of being away for the 11 weeks.

Once in SL we will be looking at a new home base or doing some major renovations to Lamport to allow us to play home games earlier in the year and have blocks of home an away similar to this year. Might have a year with a few home games out of Manchester if we do work out a renovation scheme with the city for Lamport.

That or the season gets shortened in the restructuring being discussed and a summer sport doesn't start in February?
