| 5 dropped of which 1 apparently injured.
Sammut, Dixon, Purtell, Roqica (two of whom were having a right laugh in the Cappers Bar after Sundays game) + Gee (who was far from happy with individuals).
In Barthau, Bienek, KPP, Pointer, Offerdahl.
Well done Hendo, strong leadership shown and I hope it pays dividends. Provided the injuries are all healed (Cunno especially), a steady side which is exactly what we need at this stage. I can see Pointer and Bienek missing out, so with the exception of Pitts and Evans (plus on loan Foster) from the successful class of '16.

| I would have Bienek in the 17 instead of either Adebiyi or Davis.
Also I'd be surprised if the majority of the 4 "dropped" are not back for the Batley game.

| well its the shake-up we probably expected - genuinely not sure about sammut, he has been our outstanding attacking player. the rest probably expected, Junior a bit of a enigma and is not proving the replacement for slyney or Thackeray we needed. Adebiyi, only ever seems to get 10/15mins max, so if Bieneck can give more give him a go. We need a win!

| Been a funny old season so far.
Sammut, Dixon, Purtell, Roqica are probably the four most talented players we have, but they all seem to be in it for the personal glory not the team. Sammut could win man of the match and the worst player award every week! Dixon could end up this season with most points scored and most points conceded!

| Let's see what happens, something needs to be done, hope these lads coming in play like they have a point to prove. I think the squad on Monday will be the indication if Urswick players dropped or players rested though.

| Which players were boozing in the bar after the game? For me Alex ‘safe-hands’ Walker in at FB. Interested to see how we go without Purtell - hopefully an improvement without him so Kear & KPP on left with Williams & Hellewell right. Barthau/Api in the halves. Foster & Cunningham (needs to shave off that moustache!) to pivot at hooker - although isn’t it Foster’s last game on loan with us? As an aside, Junior is one of the few Broncos who hasn't dropped the ball in recent games & certainly less of a penalty machine but is being rested for Monday I reckon as he lacks the speed we'll need against TOXIII. Anyone know what happened to Tom Spencer & how long he's out for?

| Suspect this is mainly rotation.
Surprised by Pointer's inclusion. Took some nasty bangs against All Golds on Sunday. Wondered what the fuss was about KPP in first half (having not seen before), but he showed up in the second half. Was very impressed with Bustin and would think he deserves a go before too long.

There's a very good interview with Hendo on the London broncos Twitter fed. He's talks about the new players coming in, how it seems they taking longer to tell then he expected compered to last year squad. He talks about the injuries and how it has upset the balance of the squad.
What was interesting was what he spoke about, how he's been watching the juniors and how excited in what he sees from them. Plus he talks about what the club are doing and achieving of the pitch and in the local community, that's worth I listen.
I try and put the link in and hope it works. If not try and find it on you tube

Forgot to mention, there were some remarks made on the squad and about those dropped (just like here). And Sammut replied with this : not been delivering standards mate. I'm sure the boys will give their best, and I'm sure we will get the win.

| Glad to see that Hendo is seeing what we are seeing.
Having moved back up north at Christmas after retiring I have been to more away games that home games. Due to recent performances I will not be spending the £100 plus to make the trip down tomorrow although will be at Batley on Monday.
Regards to Sammut, his initial post was immediately after the game. There has since been a bit of a spat on Twitter with him reacting to a negative post.

| Apart for a bizarre 10-15 minute spell either side of half time, this was a much better performance. We were sold defensively, didn't drop the ball/lose the ball as much and played some decent rugby. Nice to see Rhys get on scoreboard. Thought we overdid the short side, but otherwise much improved.
I know Mickey will disagree, but I thought the referee was poor, the penalty count was I suspect heavily against us, but for once I didn't think many were justified, and if they were Toulouse should have been penalised at least as often, Also fail to see how you can put a player on report and not penalise him?
Pleasing result, win at Batley and things will look better!

Especially when you consider after Batley, we have 2 consecutive home games against Swinton and Oldham after the Challenge Cup break.

| A good win as Hendo obviously reads this forum.... Quote: Torbreck "For me Alex ‘safe-hands’ Walker in at FB. Interested to see how we go without Purtell - hopefully an improvement without him so Kear & KPP on left with Williams & Hellewell right. Barthau/Api in the halves. '"

| Can't comment on the match officials I was not there. As for the player put on report and not penalised, can answer that for you. Officials can only penalise what they see, but if he suspects something untoward might have happened but did not actually see it, then the on report can be used. He can't guess or make something up. So let the review look at it, It is used pretty frequently.
