| Micky Higham, Gareth Hock and Jamie Acton all banned for 3+ weeks which means they miss our home game. Surely this is our chance to finish top of the ladder before the biggest test for the boys in the middle 8's against the bottom SL clubs - currently Leeds, Huddersfield, Salford & Hull KR.

Higham and Hock are both back in time for the game against London.
1 match has already been served for all three (they all missed 'Haven on Saturday).
So they will also miss Fev and Worky and be back for the London game.
Acton will be a big loss though.

| I don't think its the game of your season. You still have some difficult fixtures left, especially the last two, both of which will be fighting for a spot.
Hock is part of the biggest pack in the Championship,of course he helps.

| Hock is a disgrace. Always has been and always will be. I would not want him anywhere near my club!
Shows how desperate some clubs are to win, that they will sign a loose cannon such as him.

| Bosty, harsh words about G Hock, actually I agree in that I do not like him as a player and has been seen as a thug on the pitch. However suggesting it is desperation on a club to have him playing in my opinion is wrong, its a desire to win not desperation.
If he does the job they want him to do, which in reality is as an enforcer then hey so be it.
What other clubs need to do is learn how to play against him, if the bloke plays the game at the fringes of the laws then as long as he is dealt with when he steps the wrong side fine! Clever players will learn how to push his buttons to get a reaction and get him to transgress! get the penalty, get him sin binned etc and it works in your favour.
There are a lot of players out there who arein the same vein, I do recall a certain James Lowes playing for Bradford against us at the Stoop, I was shouting all first half for players to get in his face and get a reaction, bingo he throws a punch and all of a sudden we are up against 12 players.
Let G H do what he does, but get in his face get him to step over the line.

I tend to judge players on the park, not what is written.Having seen him this season compared to last he's taken more than he's given, and would certainly be in my starting 17 every week,as he has been up to this point.

| I'm glad they are all free to play. Broncos need to be preparing for the middle 8s with tough games.
Plus I want to see the top players in the league

| Atomic, he is what he is, he plays the way he plays, and like I say it hard its tough, but if you watched Backchat the other night on Premier they has Mossa and Lee Crookes on there, both discussing the "enforcer" role that they both played in teams and especially the reasons they got recruited down to Aussie clubs, no one talks about them as disgraceful or loose cannons!!!!
I am with Wire Quin here, especially in the run up to the middle 8s we need to be playing against the best opposition, lets see how Api etc copes with them.

| I have personally seen some of Hocks nasty little antics, what the guy brings to a club is trouble.
How much game time has he missed due to suspension?
Even desperate to win Salford got fed up with and let him go.

| Don't get too worked up about promotion. I've had a rummage on the RFL website and clubs must meet the facility standards of SL or be granted a dispensation by the Friday of round 23 (22nd. July this year). A request for a dispensation must be submitted in writing with all evidence by the end of June. What's the chance of Trailfinders meeting the required standard or getting a dispensation given that it doesn't even have proper turnstiles at the moment? As far as the middle eights are concerned we'd still take part but if we finished 5th. or higher we'd be dropped to 6th. and the 6th. club would take our place.

| But if a club are happy to "manage" his antics for what he offers them on the pitch so what? If they are willing to cope with the time sat on the sidelines through suspension for what he delivers when he on the park so what? thats the clubs choice. He is not part of our club so why should we worry.
Like I say against players like that you get in there faces get under there skin, get them to react and spend the rest of the game playing against 12!! Actually players like that on the other team can work in your favour.
Actually Bosty like I said I dont like him as a player, funny in past years I didnt like a certain player who now wears our colours who had a reputation certain on the field for playing the game at the edge of the boundaries, actually watching him up close and biased because he is in our kit have taken a totally different view.

| Trailfinders have planning permission for the construction of a temporary stand behind the sticks. Not that it would bring us up to SL standard but you never know what or where the RFL would go with it if we were to do the miraculous.

Worrying. But surely DH has this in hand?
Joking aside, does the club have a plan B? At last year's fans forum this subject was very much brushed aside by our owner , presumably we weren't expected to be as competitive as we have been? Much as another move would make virtually everyone throw their hands up and think 'not again', is the club even talking to other clubs in SW London (or beyond) about our being able to play home games at their place? Is there an option of keeping ourselves based at Ealing with our academy and training facility and basically hiring a stadium for X number of home games ahead of Trailfinders being brought up to something like SL standard( albeit with temporary stands)? It would be unbearable to get qualified for the 8s and then be denied a place on the grounds of how poor the standard of Trailfinders is!

| There seems quite a lot if discretion in the rules. If the RFL want London in Superleague then hope a deal could be done. Wigan, Saints, Leeds (if there), and Warrington at the stoop, other 7 at Ealing? Don't think we would have to turn any fans away with an extra temporary stand. If in the middle eights again sure the RFL could rig any big clubs to be away fixtures.
