| Basically a pre-season friendly notionally behind closed doors. Would suit both teams in advance of next weekend.

Most Broncos games are pretty much behind closed doors these days.

| If I was I'd let everyone in for free.
Excepting apologists who would pay double.

| Broncos were really good scored about 8 tries. Skolars didn't score .
Game was 60 minutes. Alex walker left in an ambulance but is ok.
Both sides put out their 1st teams.
Skolars did well for the first 15mins. Broncos speed and handling were too much for them .
Encouraging stuff for both teams.

| Like Willow said, decent blow the cobwebs away type session for both teams.
Broncos started Walker, Williams, Stapleton, Naiqama, Macani, Keyes, Barthau, Slyney, Cunningham, Battye, Foster, Harrison, Davis - second half involvement from Margin, Everett, Hellewell, KEAR, Ioane, Thackray, Leatherbarrow.
There but not involved Ackers, Bussey, Offerdahl, Lovegrove (he is back doing contact in February)
Thoughts - the back line has pace to burn, Stapleton in particular, and some of the support play, even at this early stage was first class. Barthau was hugely vocal and lively, replaced by an equally vocal organiser in Leatherbarrow (he lacks pace though). My concern in the halves was Keyes, too much indecision, maybe down to new faces.
Forwards were strong albiet playing Skolars is different to Leigh. Nice to see Slyney out there, Battye looks very good, Thackray like a spring chicken, amazing enthusiasm and energy.
Walker injury concerning and Ioane limped off.
I know the pitch is 3G but it looks superb and plays really well.
Talking to one of the scholarship dads, he travels over from Essex every Wednesday for training and he says its fantastic, Scholarship and Academy training at same time, first team players helping out - the makings of a club.

PC Plum is spot on with his report.
Skolars were structured in defence for the first 15 minutes. After the injury to Walker they never got going again.
Skolars have their best squad ever. They never gave up but were outclassed by Broncos. A promising vibe.
