I suspect the presence of that well known rugby league enthusiast John Inverdale at Esher means it would be no go however ideal it may have been.

If there is anyone on the board from the old Kingston club they may be able to add to the picture.

Not as simple as us just saying we will play here, I expect Esher may have something to say about it. The new deal, if I am right is nothing to do wit the Rugby Club (Ealing), its a deal with Trailfinders Sports. Looks very good though.

I agree with Changing Man re Ealing. I know the club have said plans are in place but until I see something concrete (no pun intended) I am sceptical. For us to be certain they must have done a fair amount of work already to confirm all the details. I doubt that has happened to be honest. I just cant see how it can even begin to resemble a ground fit for SL

We are years away from a return to SL. Getting Ealing up to a standard fit for the Championship is what we need to be talking about.

We will only get back into SL if the RFL get rid of big Nige and put in a CEO with a growth strategy for the sport into London.
