| Hello Charlie, Canons Park on the Jubilee Line is the nearest station and no engineering works this weekend (this is a rarity). Left out of the station and cross the road and the entrance is about 150 yards down, it looks more like a small park entrance that a stadium gate. The path down leads to the bar, and all those coaches from Leigh park there!
Be gentle with us!

| I see that the referee for Sunday is Mr Leatherbarrow. I am sure that the Leigh players will be pleased to meet up with him again.Should be interesting.

Leatherbarrow is a massive Leigh fan (supposedly ) so if you're thinking the penalty count against us against at the Bulls match was bad with Matthew Thomason officiating it'll be worse with Leatherbarrow - who officiated the Leigh v Fev game in Blackpool - then Gawd help us......

| There are more than a couple of referees on the 'circuit' who are lifelong Leigh fans, but Leatherbarrow isn't one of them as far as I know. He's born and bred in St Helens.
Thoroughly looking forward to the trip this weekend anyroad.

| Well perhaps not just Leigh but Leatherbarrow has always penalised London more than any of the other Championship refs by a country mile - even when we were in SL he would ping us for anything. Of course this game things could be different

| I will throw summat out there, it's a bit radical but you never know it may work.
Might I suggest the team stop commiting offences then the ref will not have to blow his whistle and penalise them, just a thought.
Ref can only penalise when players don't play within the rules of the game it's pretty simple really

Tend to be with you generally in your support for refs Micky, and I don't have anything specific re Leatherbarrow, but many calls are judgement-based, particularly re stuff around the tackle/ptb.
