| Its a pity we couldn't have got hold of Sinfield rather than him going to Union. He could have been a player/asst coach/football mgr but also a face of rugby league in London. Articulate, smart, a known face, great player, leader, experienced ... just what is needed to steer the ship upwards.

| Nice to speculate about next year and yes it would be great. But the pressing issue is this year and I don't think his availability solves that problem?

But I have already written off London's chances for this year, haven't you? It is inconceivable to me that London can beat even Bradford, let alone Leigh, for the right to promotion at the end of this season.
The club needs to nail down a few class players for next year. Someone bungled when they signed hopeless Liam Foran, so now is the time to nail down some quality for 2016. A standoff and two props is what is needed to accompany Slyney and Barthau. Kurt Gidley is a superb utility, who has played State of Origin, and can perform well at hooker, scrum half, standoff or full back. He would be perfect given inevitable injuries to some of the club's better players. Pay him 20% of the cap if necessary. He would be worth it.

Not really.
We will make 4th at best and all that we will gain from that is 6 or maybe 7 losses, some of them embarrassingly heavy and only 3 of them at home.
I'm starting to think 5th wouldn't be the end of the world this year, so long as we get the recruitment right for 2016.

Waste of time responding on 2016 as I've already made my point. Oh and I doubt he'd even pick up the phone unless we were already in SL. As for giving up on them, as I doubt you actually support the club your entitled to your opinion, but no I haven't written off their chances despite being realistic about their chances. Why should i or would you suggest not attending any more games this year? If it's inconceivable then no point bothering.

So this year is still a priority then isn't it. As they still need to do something to even achieve that. Also if you really want to recruit well for next year, demonstrating your a realistic contender for top 2/3 this year and therefore building for next year is important.

Did Leigh put on a strong Wigan accent when they rang Moi Moi?
