Hi Broncos fans I'd appreciate a little advice for us Fax fans coming to visit you shortly.

Firstly, which pub(s) near the ground do you recommend for a pre-match drink or two?

Secondly, is it seating only or are any standing areas open - I notice there is an early bird ticket discount but could only see seating?

Any help appreciated.

All seated. There is a standing terrace at each end but not open for Broncos games.

Others are much more well informed re pubs so I'll leave that to them.

Not tried any of the local pubs, because we normally go straight to the the Orange Bar at the ground. Decent beer and food.

Thripding.
Don't know how you are getting to the ground but if you use the Jubilee Line from London , get off at Kingsbury, turn left out of the Station & within the first 100 yards there is an Irish Bar or just past that is a Weatherspoons if you want a cheaper drink.
The tubes are about every 2-3 minutes.
Two stops nearer to Stanmore is Canons Park. Turnright out of the Station & Morano's Bar is about 50 yards down the road.
If none of these pubs suit, turn left out of Canons Park & a couple hundred yards down the road, you will see the entrance to The Hive. The food & drink there is very good & not too badly priced (For us rich Londoners that is !!)
Have a good trip down & tell your forwards to take it easy on us. The only thing we have got out of this season so far is an unbeaten Home record.

Edited my post to say 'Orange Bar' rather than 'Amber Lounge'. Doh!

The Orange bar (Main bar in the West Stand) is being renamed this Sunday. New name is Grazioli's in honour of a Ex-Barnet player.

So it will still be the Orange Bar when Fax come on Saturday then

Grazolis I like it being a fellow Italian do they serve Minestrone?
