At what stage do the club accept that the dream of bouncing straight back in 2015 is gone and start building for 2016?

Personally, I can't see us doing any better than 4th this year and would much rather we started recruiting for 2016 now, if we have the owner prepared to back us. We accepted relegation long before it was official last year and started to recruit (badly it would seem) so when does Hendo find he's got the job for a couple of years and knows his budget for 2016?

I'm not saying the 2015 season is over by the way and there's still plenty to play for, but the reality is that top spot or 2nd offered the only realistic route the end of year game.

Back to the topic in hand.

I notice that a number of posters are happily saying they told us this would happen back in 1994. I'm all for remembering the past and learning from our mistakes, but the question remains, when do we start planning and recruiting for 2016 having conceded that 2015 is a non starter in regards to making and being competitive in the middle 8?

I think we should be on the lookout for 2016 now. we will not get promoted this year (famous last words). The only team in our division who has a chance is Leigh. Its not throwing in the towel but we should always be actively looking a few steps ahead
