| I am a sad sad man and I am dragging 8 mates along to Wigan on the 11th April for the first night of my stag!
That should double the away attendance!
Spoke to Wigan about a group discount in the away end but they said I had to speak to my club. Has anyone ever managed to speak to a Broncos member of staff?
First visit to the DW. Any goods pubs for before, after or to avoid?
The 8 are not exactly delighted about the night watching the Broncos, so much so that the crowd is miraculously growing to 14 for the second night in Manchester!

| Never been back since a group of us were watched by a couple of heavies (female) as we went to the loo. When we were washing our hands they inspected the cubicles we had used, one blocking the exit until they were happy we could go? They think we're freaks, druggies?? They can keep it!!
And don't even think of taking a banner, flag or other partisan stuff!!!

| Away end you will be in the stand along the side. They won't open the stand behind the stick for 20 of you

| Id buy home tickets if I were you, will be a much better atmos for your mates if you're sat amongst the locals rather than out on the edge of the stand on your own.

| I say this as a Wire fan, Wigan isn't a bad night out, go on King Street and there are plenty of pubs and clubs literally next door to each other.
It's no worse than anywhere in which people drink, you'll have fun.
As for prematch boozers, Wigans ground is pretty naff for that because it's out of town on a trade estate, with just the the one pub.
People will tell you how bad king st is but in all seriousness it's a fun night out, especially Boxing Day which is an amazing night out.

I say old chaps, some of you fine fellows should take a look at the same thread on the Wigan page, it is now on its fourth page and it is clear to see that all efforts are being made to make you welcome.
