The magazine will be produced three times a season (Kick Off, Half time and Full time) and be distributed to 1500 homes as well as schools, colleges and pubs located in targeted wards around the Iffley Road ground.

The first run is being delivered this week.

After a successful first season with crowds just above expectations the club have ramped up activities across all fronts for the 2014 campaign including an increased presence in local media, the establishment of 'Rugby League Inspires' (the club's community arm) working in schools, delivering Play Touch Rugby League and most importantly getting to know our local residents.

One thing which is a shame is that the local press time afforded to Oxford RL is pretty shabby to be honest.

Rugby wise its all London Welsh who have frankly nothing to do with Oxford other to mess up our football pitch. Next season they are looking like moving to the outskirts of Oxford.....................London hopefully and then maybe Oxford RL will get some well deserved local attention
