| I think it's gone. The new season isn't all that far away, and the club have no ground, no players, no staff, no youth set up.
If Hughes really is playing chicken with the RFL, then he's really pushing it to the edge, for sure. But there comes a point at which it becomes impossible to pull it together in time. I can't see how a team can be fielded next year at this stage.
Still, at least Gus is there to draw his salary as the last remaining employee.

| Agree that it looks like it is all over, given the magnitude of our problems I doubt there is the appetite from the RFL or other clubs to dig us out of this mess. You only have to look at all of the other SL club message boards to gauge the apathy from the `RL Family`......our demise does not even warrant a discussion thread on all but the Wigan site (and even then it`s mixed up with other post RLWC stuff)....time to give it up as nobody cares any more.

| Im hanging on to 60% or similar tickets for WC bought by southerners
Comments from NRL about no team in the south/London
Past comments about SKY wanting a southern team
If it is the end, the game as a whole in the northern hemisphere goes backwards into obscurity. Foxy bingo and Brut will remain the record sponsorship deals

Just been on Sky - 59% of 67,454 attendance for wembly match were from London or South East. Just shows people are there who will watch it. Just needs a competitive team and marketing it.

| 59% were from London and south east or 59% of tickets were bought in the area. So all the organised aus and nz tours that came over probably bought through a sports travel company based in UK by the aus travel companies! Possibly takes up a lot of that

| It is getting close to the wire and tight! but I do not have the same despondency, only yesterday I heard this season The Academy will be 20 players only.
Blake Solly yesterday said that "Hopeful of getting a resolution early this week" Discussions seemed to have continued regards The Hive, and Leyton is an alternative.
Today Super League Clubs are set to be meeting with regards Super League Sponsorship, it is rumoured that there are a few options with Go Daddy being a favourite, so it is certain that our situation will be discussed.
It has been a difficult time, and I have been as frustrated as everyone, but I worked for a record company as general manager and they filed for administration, it was such a difficult time not being able to say anything.
Just trust it works out for us, it will not be the lack of trying, if we do The RFL must as I have kept saying put in support, it has been said that SallyBolton who was the real worker behind the World Cup 2013 is to remain at The RFL, who better to send into London.

Admittedly Earls Court bar staff will take up a proportion of southern sales but organised tours wouldn't be that big I reckon.
Certainly not on a par with the Cricket Fanatics for the Ashes.

| Just to add to the gloom, some of our academy were on trial at Warrington two weeks ago.

Also several have been training/ on trial at top flight union clubs.
Skolars have swooped on a few that were meant to be contracted but were released due to the state of the club.
I know where I'll be watching my rugby league next year!
