It is rumoured that we had to give our word to The RFL last Thursday (perhaps for fixture list drawing up) and Tony seems to be busy speaking with people in the RLWC and agents.

According to a poster on the TotalRL forum, Nigel Wood and TR were at the Samoa - PNG game last night and spent the first half locked in one of HKR's meeting rooms, with TR leaving just after the second half started. This means that at least something's going on.

Why would Woody meet with TR?
Surely the conversation needs to be between the owner/CEO and the RFL not the coach/RFL.
Is TR back in his old role and if so have we rid ourselves of the African?

That had me scratching my head as well. Perhaps it was something to do with quota exemptions on the playing side. |
