Phil Party tried to explain Wood's brainchild of 2x12, 3x8 to a non RL presenter and apologised saying he didn't understand it either ! Speaks volumes. All agreed great work in community, academy etc but game needs a pinnacle in SL. Phil Jones confirmed talks were still on-going

Typically of these types of discussions there were too many guests trying to cover too many subjects in too title time. Forty Twenty's Phil Caplan - a great supporter of the game in London and Broncos' place in Super League - got two minutes before the whole thing turned in to a "what would you call the game if we dropped the word Rugby" competition.

I got the feeling they were trying to squeeze too many topics into one hour. As much as I admire the efforts of Skolars, Stags, etc, I think the full hour merited essentially one discussion - how do we make a professional rugby league team work in London? Can we make one work in London? That discussion encompasses marketing, coaching, youth development.

We pitched the programme at a non-rugby league supporter, so explained more than analysed. We tried to cram a lot in, so it's not in-depth in anyway - as has been said.
With there being little rugby league content on the station this year, because of the changed schedule and the dropping of the regular hour, we thought - specially with the situation of the Broncos - we'd look at more of an overview of the general situation.
It was commented that "We must come back to the subject" and ThePenguin's suggestion of a "How do we make a professional rugby legue club work in London" is a very good suggestion of something we may well pick up in/around any annoucement of the Broncos future.
I'd welcome any other suggestions too.
To answer one other question, yes the London Broncos were asked to be part of the programme. I did intend to say so, but overlooked it. They declined, but did allow Phil Jones to accept my invitation of him appearing on the programme.
