Much as i want us to beat Widnes on Friday I feel TR should rest as many as he can. The younger players in particular wont be able to perform at their best against the pies if they have to play against Widnes as well. Their bodies can't take that punishment yet. Give a runout to the players who wont be needed against the pies to see if they are shaping up for SL and being worth a contract.

As was mentioned here recently, the club needs to build a winning mentality. Let's not throw away the opportunity of another win, we have few enough of them as it is. |

Not suggesting they need resting but if injuries stack up due to the Widnes game It would be gutting.
The way things are looking if we are around next year a good few of the second string will need promoting
due to necessity in any case. |

Put the youngsters out because they deserve it - they show a willingness and passion which far outweighs the first team effort. However as most of the first team will have an eye to the future and want jobs next year they may decide to find their backbone and play. They need to put their talents in the shop window because so far this season none of them have shown any reason for another team to want them.We might even see a few actual contests before the end of season. It would be nice if they showed the commitment to the fans which they want from us.
