| Menzie Yere.....what a beast, his performance just indicates how much talent there is in PNG. He looks like another Stanley Gene, a player who could player until there 50. (or however old he was)
He could easily play at Super League level and I understand he has already turned down Warrington to stay at Sheffield.
With all the new grass roots structures being implemented in PNG at the moment, we're going to see a lot more players of this calibre coming through and if any Super League club is wise they should be scouting the island coz I'm sure they'll be plenty of talent like that available.....quality player.

| Tough as teak, and fearsome. Hunslet had a couple of PNG'ers good value for money.

| Despite what the Sky team kept saying he was one of the worst players on the pitch I thought. He must have dropped the ball more times than he kept hold.
But I do agree to an extent about PNG being a place to look at for players.

| As I said in another thread, we take so much stick for not bringing anything to Super League, but last night showed the young players who are now coming through, sad though it seems we may not hold on to them once again! I have asked so many people and no one can tell me how many Sheffield born players were on that pitch last night for The Eagles.
Disappointed in Mark Aston that he had to highlight what he still claims to be an offside try, instead of being honest and saying their game was full of errors! and not one word about the Broncos play and more so Jamie Soward how he was heads above anyone.
The Sky coverage which I watched early this morning was atrocious, never heard such amateur commentary and the knock the other two!

| SKY's disrespect of London shouldn't surprise anyone - they do not like us they talk the talk but dont walk the walk. They move our games at the drop of a hat and it really shouldnt be too difficult for them to plan in advance when they only show two a year. (Magic excluded). Perpignan? Leeds? easier to treat us badly than it is any other club

| Mitch Stringer and Ed Battye are both local lads who came through our academy.
Bill Arthur is a buffoon.
