| I am a more than infrequent poster on this forum despite being another longstanding bedraggled season ticket holder. I happened upon the rumour about the move to The Hive. I am actually a Barnet FC fan and a local so this works very well for me and with a baby on the way may be the only thing that motivates me to renew. Like many I vow year upon year not too.
That said, I see very little opportunity to market the game in the local area. The residents of Barnet / Harrow are apathetic at best and Canons Park really is in the middle of nowhere, with the undelights of Edgware up the road. The Saracens have sucked all the marketing out of the local area, having spent lots of money in the local area and with a council that screwed over Barnet FC. It will be strange to see my two favourite losing teams in one venue. On the plus side, Canons Tandoori round the corner from the ground is one of the finest Indian restaurants around!

| As the Barnet Ladies team has recently been rebranded London Bees for the WSL I guess that would be the obvious choice.
Recent postings on the Barnet Forum about the move seem surprisingly positive (remember we're dealing with Football fans here), with several declaring their existing allegiance to the Broncos (I honestly thought I was the only one).
I spoke to Tony Kleanthous recently at the Hive and he confirmed that talks had taken place - initially as a training facility - but that a ground share had seemingly become more likely since the club had seen the new stand had starting to take shape (it was enough to get me to book my seat for Barnet there and then, it's a goodun). However he did state that nothing had been signed or agreed even in principle. I got the impression that he would look favourably on any request to ground share from the club if it came along.
So over to you Gus

I really have little faith in any decisions made by our current COE. What is more concerning is if he has the power to dictate/sign a deal over a decent period of time...such as anything over 1 season.

| To me its abundantly clear thats its Gus who is clearly out of depth at the this level, and should do the honourable thing and look for work elsewhere.
The Broncos have enough problems and Gus doesn't have a clue how to even start curing them. Is Gus even aware what match day promotion is?
What, if any match day promotion was put into the game at Gillingham?
Please don't just say there was just an advert in some local freebie papers in kent and a quick mention on the local radio. There is more to match promotion than that.

Medway Dragons and the RL community down there put in the hard yards...

....curious locals would have had to say "what's going on here"?

So well done to the Medway Dragons and the local RL community down there for making sure it was an above average home crowd for the Broncos. So that raises the question what did Gus do to promote the game or did he just piggy back off all the hard work the locals done?

| The sooner we have a ground for next year the better. As usual, it looks like planning for 2014 will start in 2014.

That brings back memories of carying the posts from Craven Cottage to Chiswick. Weather looks similar as well.

Any move stated by the club now will have a negative effect on some part of our support as it is bound to make it more difficult/impossible for them. What is the financial gain to be made to offset this by telling us where we are going in 2014?
I sensed a lot of people gave up on the club when it was announced we were leaving the stoop.

We know we are moving - wherever we go, some fans will be unhappy.
But there is precisely no benefit to be had in holding off a decision - giving unhappy fans longer to adjust to bad news is better than springing a decision on them in November.
On the flip side, the financial gain is clear; if the Broncos came out next week and said that in 2014 we are playing out of The Hive in a new orange and black kit with Selco continuing to sponsor us and that season tickets/merchandise for 2014 go on sale in September, I (and others) may just believe that there is some kind of plan for the club. The longer we have uncertainty, the less faith I have (and I have very little). Uncertainty is what is doing the damage here - a common theme for the Broncos.

| The last time we had the issue regarding staying at the Stoop they dragged it out to the last game of the season and neglected to even make a formal announcement.......it was only when the crowd started to shout the question (after the players leaving announcement) that they made a sort of `er, oh yes....we are staying at the Stoop` statement. I don`t see it being any different this time around; if we are to survive another season they will not be trying to `sell` the move to the remaining fans, it will just be a case of moving on and hope that someone turns up.
I for one will be quiet happy if the curtain finally comes down on this whole sorry mess of a club, as I find the on-going failures on the pitch, compounded by the lack of decent management, the will we/won`t we survive question etc quiet draining. The biggest loss will be the friends made over the years and good social times.......if it were all about the rugby I would have given up years ago.
