| . . other than being a fan for decades I can't think of a single reason to spend much cash on watching us lose. But shockingly I'm never bored watching every home game as an **EXISTING** fan but as for new one fans.... well that's the same old question. Cheers.

| OK, I'll start... Reason 1 is because we're inconstant.

| Reason 2 - cos I've always been a sucker for a lost cause! Especially when it looks to be truly lost!

| All the Wendy ball press recently on how Arsenal had not won a trophy for x years. So what - plenty of teams have been trophy less for far longer!

| I'd watch them simply because THEY ARE MY TEAM. They are the first team I followed in RL in the UK after living in Oz years ago and getting into the sport here.
I'd follow them irrespective of where they are on the table or how they played. THEY ARE MY TEAM.

I get stick about that from a Aldershot fan of all things - Aldershot a team so poor they couldn't even exist for several years.
The only reason to watch the games are hope, banter, and increasingly rare moments of blinding genius (Dixon's try against Les Cats)
And to be fair all three are on the decline

Hear hear to that, great post. Some of us began watching RL supporting a different team (home town mainly). We now support London cos they're Our Team.

| Completely agree with the premise that LB are 'my team' and the reason I will always watch them in the SL.
However... I occasionally wonder that, if we lost our SL licence (which is likely at the rate we're going), would I want to travel the distance I do now for home games (a 150 mile round trip by car or a 4 hour public transport journey) to watch us in the Championship if still based in the TW2 area. I doubt it but I'd always support the club even if watching far fewer games. Looking forward to the Adams Park experience though.

| Apparently I was taken to watch Bratford Northern before I could walk and living in the South have no other SL team to watch than Broncos. Just plain daft really and no other game like RL!

| Watching London Broncos is like having a 'jim and frank'.
When you are enjoying yourself you find Freddie Krueger's glove suddenly appears on your hand.
After the match you try to forget the glove.
But you cannot possibly forget the glove nor avoid the negative and miserable buggers who harp on about Bad Marketing, Bad Results, Bad Gus, Bad players, Low Attendances and Staying at or Leaving the Stoop.
But the best bit of all is just as you would rather be One Armed Bandit to avoid the pain that you go away from home and a Pamela Anderson appears!

| Habit supported by hope, which is dwindling. They're my team because they have been for about 15 years. But, from next weekend, "my" team (as in nearest professional RL club) will be Oxford. If Broncos drop out of SL and/or move significantly further east, I shan't follow them, especially if Oxford survive to provide an alternative.
Looking forward to seeing the whup the Bulls tomorrow though.
