If it were up to me, I would be firing off an email to every ST holder today with an offer to bring 5 mates to the HKA game free of charge....all a ST holder would need to do is fill in a form (available on line) for every guest they brong...giving , Name, Mobile Number, Email, postal address and stating if the game would be their first and if not, when they last attended a game....then hand it in at the ticket office in exchange for a ticket. Every ST holder who brings 3 or more mates receives a free upgrade for a curry later in the season.

I fear for the attendance next week......with it being on TV, the club need to try something....3,267 is the average for their trips south, 2,525 last year.

Attendance will be crap. Team playing crap until last week. Beating Salford will fool nobody.Remaining fans morale at an all time low. Game on TV. Recipe for disaster.

I am fully aware that Salford won't fool anyone and that the vast majority of fans have had enough (or close to it), but it doesn't meant the club shouldn't attempt to get fans through the gate.

Adverts in the local press raises awareness......direct marketing will get them results.

Agree! we have enough problems without trying to make up even more.

I foresaw that issue of bringing friends and sitting with them, so asked for my season ticket to be in the East stand so my guests - when I bring them - could sit with me. As the point has been made though, finding somewhere to sit is hardly a problem given all the empty seats usually available.

I'll be working on bringing some guests for HKR, but suspect it might only be the one, my girlfriend due the timing, location and where my friends live (not very locally - they'll be more easily persuaded to come to a 3:00 p.m. game). I'll definitely encourage as many friends as possible to come when Saints visit - but then, that will be to see St Helens play!

My girlfriend has suggested Broncos should try a 'kids go free' approach as the Guildford Flames do several, times a season. I passed that on to the club on their feedback template a couple of games ago.

Didn't get a response, not even so much as an acknowledgement of receipt. So no idea if it is being considered or consigned to the dustbin.

Look at GroupOn, the discount website. Saints flogged two tickets for their home game against Huddersfield last year for £20, so a tenner each. According to their heritage site, a total of 14,070 watched the game. That was an increase of 1,725 on the home game before that, an increase of 7,649 on 2011 (they were in Widnes in 2011) and an increase of 5,036 on 2010 at Knowsley Road. I know that GF will love those stats.

Didn't the club do an offer the other for the televised Cas game? It seemed to work in the short term, give it a crack again.

Let season ticket holders bring as many friends as they want free with a filled in coupon with all their information. Sell cheap tickets through Groupon, Wowcher and KGBdeals. Push free ticket tokens through the neighbourhood doors just do anything and everything to put bums on seats get behind the team and it could be a great televised advert for the game
