| Judging by the negative comments on facebook, the Curry Night for the HKA game might not sell out
The club used to boast about its 5,000 friends on the book......now it seems it's still not prepared to listen to their opinion on matters that are important to fans who go to/used to go to games.

| Would you pay £40 for a curry and rice? I wont - I paid for a season ticket to get me entry into the game so why would I pay to get into the match twice. Away fans get a bargain, entry to the game with best seats in the house and a curry.

| Im not a season ticket holder and very pleased I didnt part with my money in advance, it appears to me you get a lot more respect if you dont put your faith and money into the club before the season starts. Pay £40 on top of the season ticket for a curry wake up broncos and smell the coffee - you will never keep the season ticket holders next year with this kind of treatment. One could say the club is biting the hand that feeds it

that's not in doubt....what is under scrutiny is a 40 quid ruby if you are a ST holder, as opposed to a 20 quid one if you're not.
It's "naan" to clever of the club in most peoples eyes to be seen "currying" favour with away fans...some say it's "tikka" the .
I'll fetch my coat

| As if it isn't bad enough on the pitch we have the same old moaners bleating about the offering in the Legends Lounge and how hard done to they are. I suggest if you don't like it there are plenty of nice places nearby that you can spend your 20 quid on far better food and you can complain about everything there too if you like.

| Doubt very much if any Broncos ST holder would fork out £20 for the curry given the dross on the pitch. A far better prospect for the celebrating visiting fans who our marketing hero 'Gus' is currently targeting... "entry and a curry for 40 notes and watch your team win if we get a sellout of the Legends Lounge by your away supporters".

Had a lovely curry last night mate...took some home in a doggy bag and had it cold for Breakfast whilst watching the WCC........... Supermac didn't look so super
As for the offering at the stoop......it's only VFM if you are a casual supporter encouraged to come back.....to date, the attendances would point to it failing dramatically. It has however, sparked debate and negativity here, on other boards and now on the clubs facebook site, with only yourself standing up for the insane decision not to offer a discounted choice to ST holders.
Financially, it's insanne: Current ST holders will not pay another 40 quid.....but they may well part with a score or 25........which will increase revenue. All the club is doing is cutting off a potential revenue stream and that makes no business sense whatsoever.

| If your season ticket holder as I am dont worry about it and dont attend legends thereby you wont be feeling ripped off if you did attend.
I did mention in previous comment (no reason why anyone should remember) i had questioned this legends lounge with Gus. He said they need the £40 to make it viable therefore it is considered a different product to season tickets.
I highlighted to him people will feel alienated who have stumped up for season tickets already.
So spend your cash at reputable curry house after game and make your own protest by not purchasing any beer at ground and spending on splendid cobra in the said curry house.
Wanna treat season ticket holders in such a manner, then why should we spend another farthing more than we need to until club changes its policy on this matter.

Spot on.
The claim that they need 40 quid to make it viable is utter bollox........the Widnes fans who paid 40 quid would have happily paid 20 quid for just a ticket if it wasn't on offer. They were coming to the game anyway. All it did was increase their spend....he could just as easily have taken another grand off 50 ST holders by offering it to them as well for a score.......
all he needs to do is offer it as a prebooked only option......the ST holder needs to pre-book and collect their voucher at the gate. This would not have any detremental effect on those people who have paid 40 notes. His stance only makes sense if it costs him more than 20 quid to make a curry for one.....

I'm with you again.
Don't like it. Don't do it. End of.
Would ST holders have to double dip in their pockets to pay more? Yes. Is it aimed at ST holders? No. Is it fair? Probably not. But as a former ST holder I expect to get what I bought and that was it. I've no special entitlement to anything outside the offer on renewing my STs. If this meant we could drink in that portcabin at Charlton after the game years ago, then so be it. End of. The club comes up with an idea to raise revenue in a different way. It gets slammed.

| I'm also not having that it will be full of Hull natives who have shelled out 40 notes to get in, curry or not. But if that idea suits your agenda...

| Believe you me this deal ain't aimed at the London locals or even the ST faithfuls. I'm shocked many thought this was the case.
