| I have been pretty impressed with the young players the Broncos have brought through so far, Dixon, Caro, Sarginson, Lovell and McMeekan the latest at only 18yo, it has been said that there is more to come so who do the fans expect to see next out of the Academy players ?

| The half back who has played alongside Sargy for the Broncos and England teams doesn't seem to have made the progress that could have been expected.
Oscar Thomas - will he make the step up as a 6?
Thomas who is out at Skolars- Is he going to reappear? There huge hopes for him a while back.
As for the younger lads I'm unsure. Do you have any names?

Mike Bishay is the young scrum half. Always looked a little bit slight, maybe he hasn't developed physically.
Further down the age groups, Cameron Pierce Paul (son of Junior Paul) has played for England alongside Joe Keyes and Harry Lightfoot-Brown. Unfortunately this last one has also played for England RU and might well end up going down that path, like his brother.

Always a shame to lose young players. I wish him well.

| Can't say I'm bothered. He's been the least impressive of the young'uns, imo.
Wherever he goes, hope they'll sort his tackling out....33 tackles, 14 misses....think that must be the worst record in our team.

He's got a good physique for RL. Big strong and quick. Has potential. Guess they'll will have to pay a fee wont they.

| No, he's OOC I think.
Jeez, since when did any bugga pay a fee for one of our players? To think they've all got such great academies.

| There's potential with Caro, could yet turn out to be a class player. You wonder how many games he'd have played had we kept the likes of Colbon fit, though...

Guys like Colbon need to be offered an incentive to leave. He's spent his entire career in and out of teams because of injuries. Give him a few quid to end his contract and see what he can get up north. I'd try it with Shane Rodney too. Then we can bring in decent replacements.
Shame about Caro, he's got a lot to work on but he's got so much potential.

| Surely with young players it doesnt matter if theyre OOC. You are still entitled to a fee. Or am i thinking of soccer?
It does question the point of all the time and money invested in the Academies if theyre just going to up sticks and walk away when they're ready for 1st team RL.
I know money goes farther Up North but i thought the theory goes that if their homes are here their is a cost saving so they will stay here with their friends and family?
Some form of London weighting may solve this but previous posters state the other SL clubs apparently have refused this request so we are stuffed. Not a level playing field is it.
And Sargy is to follow also?
