Widnes home to Cas next Monday. Cas seem to be in a mess, Basil struggling to keep his credibility and now they've had Owen suspended for the game.

So we'd better beat Leeds or we'll probably be in position 14 again.

Good chance Bradford will drop a mass of points (or at least they should) if they go into Administration....That maybe our only life line from the dreaded wooden spoon!

Feel for them.....well, the players and fans....don't have any sympathy for the management of the club...they wanted us gone...now they get the same

Bradford on null point is our best hope, sad but true!

Bradford won't be docked enough points to finish below us. Cru and Wakey only got 4 and I think their is a maximum cap on how many you can lose for this.

Hope they can fulfill their fixtures for their fans but nil sympathy for the club.

Maybe they should give us some SL points if we win the 9s tonight!

Must admit to genuinely wondering if we have another win in us. Having said that, we have pulled off a few shock wins over the years against Leeds so I'll live in hope.

Then again, who remembers the 0-60 drubbing by Leeds in our first year as Quins ? That was diabolical...made worse by the fact that we had a team that had made the play-offs a few months previously.

I remember that match, didn't LMS make his debut in that. As I remember the weather was awful, hammering down with rain.

....with the exception of Hartley and Weisner, that team is not bad on paper at all.

Hartley was Phil Clarkes "Player to Watch" that year...he thought he was going to be a v good SL player (as we know, it didn't happen sadly).

I'm prepared to let "Fat" Weisner off on the basis that I thought he was damn cute.

Would love to know how that team unravelled in 2006...may give us a clue as to what is happening now.

They won 6 and drew 1 game out of 18 that year before Tony Rea was bounced and Mac stepped up IIRC.....Rea got moved "upstairs" because of a 33% win ratio.......anyone else see the irony there when looking at the clubs results over the last 18 games?

To be fair to Mac, he did grind 5 wins out of 9 that year, so maybe it was a "player power" thing?
