| Over the last week I have sat here reading and digesting what fans feel will be the best course of action to show our dissatisafaction to the club. Some think throw in the towel - others hate that idea. Some are talking with their feet and leaving the club behind. Some say shout 'Powel Out' 'Powel Out'. Some think David Hughes is a saviour - others don't. I think all are good ideas when you feel as low as the fans feel at the moment. Some like myself have followed this club for a vast number of years, some are new comers, but all are hurting because of the lack of ambition in the club, lack of team spirit, lack of information flowing back following the review and the fact the club they love is failing and floundering with every passing week.
I have acouple of questions :
Why should DH not be held to account - I agree he has put an untold amount of money into the club but and it is a big BUT he employed someone with no experience into the position - not for one year but for two. Why would you do that - surely if you employ an inexperienced person you should have the hindsight to put them on a rolling contract and if they fail at the end of the first year (which RP did) you move them on and get someone who can do the job. He will lose more money in the long run keeping RP as people will walk away. A lot of us turn up at the moment because we have paid for season tickets. What will happen at renew time?
Why is Gus being blamed for a lot of what is going on, he can only market the tools he has and at the moment who would or could market this lot of failures - harsh word to use but they have failed considerable coach and team. He can take the blame for stock issues but bums on seats I don't think so
Why have they no compassion with the backroom staff and get rid of them at the drop of a hat but allow a clueless coach to roll on and on and on
When we get beat week in week out why do people applaud the team off the park.
I may or may not take a towel tomorrow I still cannot fully decide which way I want to vent my spleen but I think maybe if we are beaten again maybe all of us should stay and turn our backs on the team and remain silent until everyone of them has left the pitch for the dressing room. It would probably be more dignified by the supporters and maybe, just maybe the club will get the message enough is enough.
I have asked Gus, David and RP why the team are so bad and why we are not achieving witht he talent we have on paper and the amount of money DH has spent and to be honest David could not understand why I was asking him what has gone wrong and RP thinks I am out of line for asking him if he thinks he is up to the job. Now when he passes me he just scowls at me - do I care - no - but I feel better for knowing I have told him politely that I think he is in above his head

| DH when I have had the chance to talk to Him seems baffled. Hopefully things are being planned to make this season a horrid memory in 2013.

I have acouple of questions
1. IMO, Dvid Hughes is not beyonf reproach. A saint he may be, but when it comes to this club, he has made more errors than good decisions in recent years.
2. Gus ditto.....I have already pointed out that the "re-brand" was a damp squibb...before it was realised we were going tobe .
3. RP is the #1 issue at the club and should be gone now.....19% win ratio after 43 SL games.....

| Im sure CG knows. This is where DH needs a good ex player/coach to watch the team and put him straight. DH is much like me and you when we watch the team. We see it as spectators not players. Much as I blame RP for a lot, the players must also take a fair amount of resposibility as they are not earning their wage packets. Mac at Leeds is also out of his depth but the players are still trying and winning some games despite him.
In our position there should be no sentiment. We will continue to slide as long as RP is coach and DH needs to do the honourable thing however distatefull it is even if it means admitting he made a mistake. Continuing down this road is only making matters worse.

In my opinion, there is nothing distasteful about sacking RP or admitting mistakes.

Business is Business:
2012 has seen a 12.5% win ratio, down from 22% in 2011 which in itself, was down from 26% Under Mac. The Players seem to be bereft of what it is they are supposed to do in attack in the last 10 meters and have little idea of how to defend out wide. His post and now pre-match comments are an embarassment and yet he continues to enjoy the support of the CEO or more importantly, the Chairman, who is actually calling the shots.
David Hughes had no problem removing back office staff who didn't perform. Regardless of the abject crap being served up on the park, the 2 ex-employees mad little if any difference to the areas they were charged with improving, which means they can have little complaint about being shown the door.
This is 100% pure David Hughes.
IMO, He dislikes and distrusts marketers, seeing them as a waste of money that never delivers results (more fans/more column inches/sponsors/awareness) and he has no hesitation in getting rid.
IMO (nothing to do with me BTW), he has continued to employ the wrong calibre of staff in the roles that I believe are Key to the clubs ongoing survival. There is a train of thought that "fans don't make good employees", but I believe that a Rugby League person needs to be employed in all of the key back office roles. An full understanding of the game, it's social standing, the passion of the fans and the KPI's that need to put in place to see gradual growth should be the minimum required of the people charged with growing the BUSINESS
Since 2006 We have had Paul Brown and...er.....Hmm......er....a long line of tennis and cricket administrators that were no longer working in cricket or tennis when he hired them.
Rob Powell should got the same way as the back office staff removed without ceremony... but Perish the thought, but I am starting to think David Hughes employs only "yes men"

| If anybody wants someone to laugh at in the managers position, I am available, free of charge, my only mantra is "it must involve beer", see this is where we have been going wrong, its just gone down hill since we stopped selling VB in buckets, in Ice.

| Forgot to add, i used to really enjoy wearing the bucket home on my head, after another home win and Carlsberg extra in Stripes, followed by a few more Stella's in the Griffin, then two in the Sun at Richmond, then the London Overground to Stratford or District line over to Mile End late on the Sunday, though after the trek, usually awake and sobered up, OH HAPPY DAYS
