| What will be deemed a "success" on Monday morning, May 7th 2012?
Obviously, 2 points and an improved performance from the team is the most important thing, but with regard to the future of the club, what attendance will be considered "good"?
So far, there has been the "wrong ticket" fiasco, with ST holders being given the run around, the idiotic £20 coach trip...the same amount being charged to Hull FC supporters travelling to Kent, the Waterloo & City line travel advice (is the coach full?) and the ticket offer in TNT (I pray it was a contra deal) hitting the news stands the day after the offer expired.......nothing like a bit of forward planning and getting it right eh
3,620 is the average gate for Harlequins RL v Bradford Bullls in Superleague. (7 games)
4,227 is the average gate for 16 Superleague games v Bradford in London (2 Games in Leicester 1997/2001).
9,116 at The stoop is the highest London gate for this tie in Superleague 1997.
2,534 at the Stoop is the lowest London gate for this tie in Superleague 2008.
4,253 was the gate at the Stoop in 2011.
What do you think the club will deem a success and proof that a move is the way forward?

WoW..........your posts are like an E8 bus......wait months for one then 2 arrive at the same time
If my posts are so repetative, why did you bother opening it? Others with the same attitude as you manage to avoid them.....some even contribute from time to time, but you just snipe.
I make no bones about it.....in my opinion the club is being run into the ground and like lemmings, some like you are just sitting there grinning inanely and enjoying the ride.
If I didn't care, I wouldn't post!

| I'm not quite sure how you can come up with a long term success criteria for a one off. On the day a gate of above x could well be seen as successful but it nearly all of those people are newcomers who aren't taken enough ever to return is that a real success? Will the club have any meaningful data on who the new attenders are and what they made of it all? If we are seriously looking at moving east surely the second on the road game should also be at Orient so we could see how many East London addresses bought tickets for both games, how many bought for the first but didn't return for the second etc.

| Success for this game can only be measured in terms of how many newcomers it attracts and how many of those are persuaded to come back.
I fear, however, that success in those terms will be used to make the case for a move when all it will actually demonstrate is that the more effort you put into attracting people to games the more are likely to turn up.

| People seem to be forgetting that there actually is no choice about playing away from the Stoop. Where we go is not really of interest to anyone at the stoop management, they need to treat the playing surface -end of.
In which case it is 'lucky' we got an away draw in the challenge Cup ...........isn't it?????

Regardless of the "supposed" reasons for being OTR, the fact that the club have apparently engaged in more marketing for these 2 games than they have since the move to the stoop in 2006, points to an awfull lot of eggs being put in one basket....

| Have you noticed GF, that when we win a game, you come on here within a couple of days and coat the club off for something or another? Normally conveying the same message over and over.
