Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 - Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader. Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward. Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I? Update on Quins Mogs :- Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo. Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas. Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9. Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg

One assumes that these arrangements are what Orient requires (this is what happens when you get involved with soccer clubs).

TBF, the ticketing mullarkey was flagged up some time ago.

We've got our tickets..can't see the problem really.

Well, it's looking that way, Darth. The East side of London not really your bag (lucky Richmondian you) icon_mrgreen.gif

I don't like most of East or North London...going to the Skolars is like visiting a foreign country for me.

Not so Dan, used to hike across there twice a week or so for 40 odd London Knights ice hockey games a season.

I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg

Dan, I run the first amateur under 16's team to play in London many many years back against an Under 18 school side, as part of the 5 days we spent in London playing two games I obtained complimentary tickets for the full squad to go to a West Ham game (of course) there were some hard lads in the team but they were so worried about being in the ground with West Ham fans, how wrong they were they left all agreeing they had met some of the nicest people in there lives! and on further visits even though I was offered tickets by Arsenal they wanted to return to Upton Park. It's sad if we can't mix in any area, yes even at Twickenham itself at England union internationals with the expensive cars and picnic baskets with champagne! and strawberries, just like a day at Odsal Stadium LOL!

Dan-I picked my tickets up for Orient and im now hearing they have given me the wrong ones.

Maybe we are underplaying our season ticket numbers as a tax fiddle!

You will be glad to hear they do get it right in the end.
Or at least they did with me second time round.

East London was fine up to 25 years ago which is when I upgraded to Essex. icon_smile.gif

Apologies Darth, forgot you were a fan of another struggling minority sport (We went there once enjoyed it but not enough to go back...a bit like a lot of Broncos visitors).

Jaybs- I think we can all mix in any area but we don't have to like it (can't help it but my heart sinks when I get out of Wood Green tube stn...it's such a scruffy dump) My family are all from East London but I prefer Twickenham and the surrounding environs. Champagne is great anywhere for me even Odslum.

Easty - you probably know but the Orient ticket muddle in regards to Super Bronco ST holders. One of our supporters realised that Super Broncos hadn't been allocated the best seats which had been promised. He notified the club and that's why they asked for the originals to be sent back so they could be replaced with tickets in the Gallery (I understand these are the premium seats). We got ours replaced at the game last week.

Ticket farce still means that groups and families at the Stoop who have a mix of premium and standard tix (only dif in the tix is the benefits and most dont need duplicating -free parking etc) and who go and sit together now have to sit seperatly or off their own backs find a way of sorting it out - by manually posting of tickets.
If it wasn't the broncos you'd think someone was pulling your leg

This highlights the problem with the pricing. We could see a mile off that most people would get 1 expensive and one cheaper ticket, as if you want to use the West stand bar, you get a guest ticket anyway. (the benefits didn't exactly encourage people to get two of the expensive ST's).

We all got the Sooper Doopers because we have extra people crop up during the year and we wanted them all to have access to the bar...not sure we will do this again though. None of us use our car park passes either.

Think they should give a bit more thought to the ST structure next year.

Other problem in theory for Orient, junior tickets are in the west stand, super dooper tickets are in the west stand gallery. I'm sure my lad will be ok sat on his own!
