Mods can this be put on a sticky?

I will be organising train tickets ONLY for the Cats game in July leaving london on friday 27th July and returning either Sunday 29th or Monday 30 July.

Travelling from London and Ebbsfleet via Eurostar and then probably via Paris on the TGV. Eurostar are quoting ticket prices from around £122 for Adults and £118 for Youth return depending on time of booking AND MAY BE HIGHER.

A provisional group booking has already been made with Eurostar.

A non-returnable deposit of 25% of ticket price will be required to be paid around February or March.

Will most likely be going by train but out on the Thursday and back following Friday - will try to book Ebbsfleet-Lille and then onto Perpignan direct. Same for the return. Ebbsfleet car park is just over £50 for 8 days and the train was £118 last year return (cheaper for under 25's and oldies). Am now looking at car hire prices, hopefully our accommodation in Argeles sur mer will work out again.

I'm in mate and you can count on the cash from me for two tickets.

You can buy train tickets now - more expensive than last year and I was told that the trains are extra busy (hence more expensive) due to the Olympics.... TGV didn't tell Eurostar that they are selling tickets earlier than usual - if fact the German rail site still don't seem to know. The train via Lille is ridiculously expensive so if we do go it will be via Paris.

17 of us from North Wales have booked for this fixture. We're travelling from N. Wales to London on the Wednesday, staying over that night, and then travelling to Perpignan by train on the Thursday - to Paris via Eurostar and then from there to Perpignan via TGV. We're heading back on the Monday, so just going over 5 days.

It's my first trip over to France, but most of the others have been before. With Crusaders dropping out of the Super League and Toulouse Olympique no longer competing in the Championship One, there weren't any trips where I could watch my preferred team, so we thought we'd come over anyhow and support you guys - although we do follow Catalans too.

We may catch some of you on the train out, but if not, I'm sure we'll meet up in Perpignan. Hopefully it won't be hard to spot us in our Crusaders shirts.

Enjoy your trip - we spoke at last seasons match about the trip out there. Unfortunately we won't be going this year (new puppy means someone has to stay with him....) Trip across Paris is fine - RER tickets from machines on the way to the metro... I would pop out of Gare de Lyon to purchase some bread/cheese/wine/beer etc for the trip. Train is V comfortable and great views from big windows - bar isn't bad either. For those who smoke there is just enough time at each stop to catch a drag or two whilst the train is on the station - many do.

Looks like this season will be the first for many a year when we don't go to a away match - can't think why this should be I'll be sitting by the side of a Surrey road next Saturday cheering the GB boys on.

Now thats gone and ruined it. That was the 1 consistant feature that I would rely on in RL - a sticky about a 2012 trip - to keep that sense of reality. Now someone has gone and ruined it. Thanks. Perhaps we can add another stickie if we get Cats away in the quarters.... £189 return on the train - not too many tickets left though, out Thursday back Monday.

Already booked mine with 2 weeks in the sun and the cats game in the middle!
