Thought they were going back to the name Broncos?

Fingers crossed this won't be the case. Nothing confirmed yet. Apart from Buck and Dusty being no more, which gives me hope

Strong rumours saying that we will be going back to Broncos, BBC London also claimed we were, the club have announced on the 1st November that we will be showing who we will be next year, as well as showing the new shirts, apparently.

MKK are designing it and I have heard it's going to be black and silver

So why get rid of Buck and Dusty?

Shane a lot of us are Hoping it will be back to Broncos, the quicker we get rid of the Harlequins brand the better! rumour of a black shirt with red??

Based on what? Prejudice? Dislike of Rugby Union? Or a nostalgoc view of the past?

Lambeth Quin, I fully supported the return to The Stoop as it had so many warm memories for us especially The World Club Challenge games, again adopting the name seemed to be a great marketing ploy, I felt it would bring us some good major sponsors and we would benefit all round, but I now see that I was completely wrong and I am willing to raise my hand when I am. The Majority of union supporters had no problem taking the money off us to use The Stoop, but they never liked our name association and we gained nothing in the end it was like an anchor dragging us down. The sooner we accept the new name whatever it may be and that one day we Must leave The Stoop.

You mention Prejudice! that comes from some of our supporters against any change! I was a member of Orrell RUFC for a long time and yes I was fortunate in the draw to get many tickets and visit Twickenham, though the atmosphere was great unlike 10,000 at Leigh today for England V Wales I never enjoyed the game as much as League which I was born into.

I have no Prejudice like many, I will always accept any decision made by a majority and just get one with it, unlike some who seem to want to damage Our Club. I fully support David Hughes and respect everything he has done and is doing, if only many others did like Saints fans seem to worship their owner.

All Hughes said was they relate to much to the old failed brand, otherwise, I have no idea.

I am sad to see them go, but if that is what David feels or is being advised I am sure they will come up with a really suitable mascot which we can market!
