| What did you quins fans think of gale. is he a good signing for us?
I think you will do well next season by the way because you have gained some quality players.

Had some very good games for Us but also had games where He disappeared. Next year I think london have a better player. IMO.

| He seemed full of promise at first but like Windy said he disapeared a lot during the season
he was often the difference between winning and losing
the losing being his poor defence

| Seemed to have real potential, but could go missing for entire games. The London management right to ship him out with a year left to run on his contract and bring in a better all-round stand-off.
Gale can still be a good SL player, but not sure if he will achieve his potential.

| Played well when the team did, had a fantastic start to the season him and dorn worked wery well together then. As others say I can't remember a game where I came away thinking gale really stood up in defence today when we were under pressure. Good luck to him and he could well find his potential at a "bigger" club.

| And remember you are asking us about a season in which the whole team played generally terribly

| Will go well behind a pack that is on top. Sadly ours rarely was last season.

| A clever player but not a play-maker. Good hands and breaks, but poor kicking from hand, though a good place-kicker. Small.

| Gale needs to be playing with a structured game-plan player because he is at his best when he is off the cuff, when you load him up with pressure and get him to play to a style and an organised plan he fails, but even when playing a more free role he can still go missing, but that was often behind a beaten pack.
Basically give him a good pack and a free-hand and he will do okay, and if him and Sammut play in the halves I'm not sure you will see the best of Gale.

| Man of the Match for England Knights against a tough Cumbrian team. From LE: "The Knights half back had a terrific all-round impact on the game, with good passing, effective kicking and his willingness to take on the defensive line." You've got yourself a good one there if Mick Potter can use him effectively.

| I'm sorry to see him go. His organisational weaknesses could be sorted by effective coaching and his own gaining of experience and maturity. His lack of size will probably mean that defence is always a weakness, but he's far from the only halfback you could say that about.
Goalkicking excellent - better than 80%.

| Some days, one Catalans game a couple of years ago springs to mind, I thought he was the real deal - managing the team going forward and solid in defence, but most games he wasn't able to achieve that. Whether that is because we as a team weren't competitive enough or whether he wasn't able to is a moot point (at least to me). Unfortunately, it is almost part of the job requirement that the London halves have to be able to deal with that.
I hope he goes well, he gave us good service and signed when our application was in doubt 3 years ago.

Sums up my thoughts really, good enough on his day but I don't think we'll miss him too much as our close season signings are better IMO. Personally I found him frustrating to watch at times as I'm sure there's a decent, consistent player in there - I used to feel the same way about Jamie O'C but now he's realising his potential, maybe it will happen for Luke Gale elsewhere.

| I'll miss him, but I feel he didn't have the right support in our team, he worked well when Dorn was playing at his best at the start of the seaon, and imo didnt stop trying at times, but his game was quite one dimensional at times, but he has a lot of potential.
