A mate of mine in Hackney had to be escorted by police to and from his flat in Mare Street, which he's now abandoned. No disturbances in Tooting yet though

Blind hatred from a small bunch of idiots... burning buildings and flats with families in.... hope they all get caught and tried with attempted murder etc. No excuses for this. How does it look for the city with less than a year till the olympics? This is being shown around the world!

I was in Barnet at around 5pm there were around 50 coppers there being proactive, closing shops and kicking everyone out, soon as it was empty left a skeleton force there, surreal.

There are people boarding up there shops just in case, seriously considering leaving my car at work 14 miles away were it's secure, only live 4 miles from Enfield were cars are being randomly torched

Woolwich too - trains weren't stopping at Woolwich Arsenal this morning, very eerie going through there, like a ghost town - very strong smell of smoke in the area but couldn't see anything as the trains go below rtound for a bit there.
