As a neutral with no axe to grind at all, I think Powell is too inexperienced to know how to dig Quins out of the hole they are in now. It's such a shame to see a team that had so much about it at the start of the season look such a shambles. Apart from some bigger blokes up front, there is potential in your side. But they didn't know what to do, they looked poorly coached and deeply lacking in confidence. Such a shame.

Trouble is we are only able or so it seems to put the same 17 out each week. I think the same 17, or as near that it makes no difference, have played 3 games over the last 8 days. They looked knackered tonight and I'm sure Temata should not have been out there, he could hardly move

I dont see how blaming the coach helps!!! its same as what happened with Mac
Its not the coach who is out there dropping the ball
its not the coach out there giving away a penalty on the last tackle
Its not the coach who kicks the ball, or passes the ball straight in to touch

the players seem to be unable to complete the basics so how on earth is the coach meant to promote good tactics

I know its the nearly the same lineup that has played 3 games over 8 days, but of course Salford has a massive squad and they have not just done the same! Thats grasping at straws for reasons

Yep I agree its the coach who picks the team, but when you have such a small squad as ours, you have to work with the tools you have, proffesional players should not be making those sort of mistakes, FFS rugby is about carrying a small white oval ball!! thats the long and short of it, and if they cannot carry it then its a bad bad day

Calderwood must be glad he did not play. There are no more excuses and changes need to be made in personnel.

So the inclusion of one player like Calderwood means that the entire team would stop dropping the ball, giving away penalties etc. as described???

We're losing, the coach gets it in the neck as the buck stops with him. When players are playing poor or not doing what they're told, the buck also stops with him.

What did folks expect from Powell he is a young untested coach ? We over achieved at the start of the season but are now under achieving. The appointment was always a risk but the senior players who supported him getting the job should be digging deep for him now.
