I didnt see this in the paper tonight? Is it online only?
Hope it works but needs to be on more than just the website.
Good start though.'"
OUTSTANDING WORK! Someone has figured out that if we have to turn the lights on and open the bar, we may as well try and fill the place......hope it works.....but for me..the best bit...It's the STANDARD
Sounds like the RFL have kicked down a door there...

On one level, who cares, but I think what GF may have meant was that despite many many attempts by the club over the years to get the Standard even vaugely interested in the clubs activities this may have needed some assistance from the RFL [who also never bothered in the past] to get a door open for us.
Now in social networking terms, how do we get that link out to as many as possible?

As Purds is having Capitals help a London child as one of his charities for his testimonial,is there no way the club or someone inform Capital about this game and the giveaway.
Well done who every (Club or RFL) got this in their in line paper. I wonder if the Standard will put it in their paper and not just online edition.
there is a link to get it on facebook. I got it on to mine.

| Hopefully this means the Evening Standard will acknowledge there are other domestic leagues in this country beyond the FA Premier League. Sorry but I'm not sure how much credit should go to the Paper when they will not have paid a penny for the right to give away free tickets and they have the common sense to keep your personal information for future use.
"Successful applicants" should be anyone who wants to request a pair of tickets and hopefully the Evening Standard get over 2,500 requests; the only tangible cost is the printing of the ticket and the increased stewarding cost. I imagine there will be a number of requests and no-shows so hopefully 5,000 is not a cut-off because I want 5,000 extra people in the ground, not 5,000 tickets given away.

| You would hope the club gets the applicants details too.
Great deal all round-lets hope for a good crowd, good game topped of with a win and some beer

| Good news. Will they be opening the South or LV stand then? Or are they gonna try and cram everyone into the east stand?

Knowing the club they will cram everyone into the one stand, not open extra food and bar concessions, no extra stewards giving everyone the worst possible match day experience.
Good start, but I wonder how it will go...

| Standard on board, New ceo with Balls. 1/2 page spreads. All we need now is win at wakey to get a good report in forementioned paper and bingo. Even our native cockney Kiwi might be happy.
