| Other than Cardiff & Edinburgh, I've not made any away trips so was thinking about Wigan on Friday 13th (what can go wrong?). Trains from Euston look reasonable but I was wondering where best to stay that night. Any suggestions?

| I've stayed at the two places mentioned above, both pretty good hotels.
There are also a couple of Travels Inn's in the town too, one is next to the "fabulous" Taybarns...
