It's a conspiracy that Quins are top of the League. The RFL have told all the teams to lose to them so that as table toppers the crowds will build at the Stoop

There was a 27 page (and counting) thread on our low attendance for the Crusaders game when I looked a few days ago. (Although loads of neutrals were giving PHIPPS a good slapping on our behalf, so it wasn't all negative.)

It's early days and it appears that Rob Powell is a real student of the game. Has he learnt from his former boss's mistakes I wonder?

At the moment we say yes...

Even if Quins won all 27 league games, won at Old Trafford, and won the Challenge Cup, the average attendance would still not rise above 3,500 !
Even at 3,500 the figure would be grossly exaggerrated just as it is already for every home game !
Let's face it, London does not care about our great game !

Some of London does and has done for years, and although it ain't as much as we'd like maybe a bit of success on the park MIGHT bring a few more around to our game.

But what a fantastic eight months we'd have!

I see they let some League Express readers have their crayons back last week to rant about Quins poor crowds/Expansion is crap/RL is a local sport for local people and not for southern shandy drinking poofs.

The only thing missing from the usual nonsense was the lack of "respect" the RFL has for Cumbrian RL heritage.

If you turn up, support the team and encourage your friends to go then what more can you do?
