simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

| ..(and couldn't be bothered to look it up!), our new golden triangle of Williamson, Robinson and Purdo, only played together five times this season.
Out of those five games, we won four and all were away games (Cas, Celtic. Leeds and Salford) and we lost the home game against HKR.
What conclusions (if any) can we draw from these stats?
Maybe we would have won more games had they been on the park together more often? Or maybe we would have won more away games?
Maybe our new 11 and 12 don't like playing in front of three men and a dog?
Quiet in the library today!...

| Maybe Brian Mac shouldn't have predicted that the two Australians would “rlgive us a lot of game timerl” before the season began?

| It's the Quins curse, PTB.
Every bugga is as fit as a fiddle before they come here (and after they leave hear, come to think of it).
We can only hope we might see more of them next year (although Purdo having vascular issues and Robinson's knee is a bit of a worry).

To be fair what else was he going to say at the start of a season, "I fully expect the players I've signed to play at 11 and 12 to be injured for a lot of the season and I doubt we'll see them play together very much at all".

He could have just avoided making bold predications about how much game time they would get. No problem with any comments about their playing abilities or what they will bring to the team.

I was looking at the appearances chart in the Castleford programme at the weekend and to be fair to Williamson (and Mac) he was almost ever-present apart from one lengthy spell on the sidelines early in the season. More worrying though was the pattern of Robinson's appearances - assuming he was never dropped it appears there were five separate instances of him missing at least one game through injury. He started only three of the last twelve games, including the one win during this period.

Robinson was definitely the more worrying, in for one, out for two. Haggerty and Heckenberg have paid the ultimate price (well not the ultimate price) for their injury record. Just hope that for Quins and the players sake the Aussie 11 and 12 occupy those starting jerseys a little more often and consistently.

| I blame going to warm weather training. It clearly is just a booze cruise. They're not prepared for the English winter and they're all on a paid jolly. Disgraceful.
Oh hold on. We fininshed the season poorly this time when it started to get warmer.

I thought we don't do warm weather training any more? Isn't it Army assault courses on the South Downs during the middle of winter instead?
