Scott Hill completed his contract with Quins RL so why would the club be holding onto his license?
Why would Quins RL want him back anyway? Was he good value for money at 250K per year, could the club afford that? How many games would he play in a season?

A terrific player (when uninjured) but he retired for good reason. If only we'd got him a year or two earlier. He won't be any better now. We might as well resurrect Lee Hopkins & Marty McLinden. Maybe Jimmy Dymock fancies a comeback!

Marty played all but one game for the Queensland Reds last year. I'd take him back at FB in a flash! |

Surely we have never even come close to paying that much per annum to a player...I,m sure I remember DH telling me at the time Scott Hill was over here that our top earners were on around 100-120K...I presumed at the time it was Marty, Hill,Henry and Purdo in that catagory... |
