| No one has really mentioned his efforts last week and the highlights shown on boots n'all and Super League TV only show his lung busting burst to put Howell in and not 2 other massive contributions he made also in the second half.
For those who weren't there he made a superb tackle on a "in full flight for the line" Dave Halley, not just making the tackle but putting him in touch as well. He also hit a fantastic drop out from under the sticks which Tadulala thought was going out on the full and let go at the last second giving us a scrum down the pitch rather than facing a repeat set.
Well done Curtis.

| Agree with your thoughts on Melling's contribution last week.
Except re the drop-out. Had it gone a metre or so further, it would have been out on the full. If it was intentional, it was a VERY high risk play!!

simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

Because last year (?) at Odsal the announcer reading out the team sheet declared that Curtis Melling would be playing at number 1 (or wahtever number it is that he plays at)

There was another game (I think it was at Leeds this year) when he was announced as "Craig Melling" and Matt Gafa as "Mark Gafa".
